Strategic IT Consultant

Great opportunity for a Strategic IT Consultant to join our growing Managed Services team! This is a highly visible, client-facing role and an executive partner to our clients.

The successful hire will work directly with client C-Suite to understand their business needs and how technology can help them best achieve those needs.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Provides strong knowledge of IT / IS technology to clients
• This position will be on site for one of our clients
• Serves as a key point of contact for client decision makers and influencers
• Listens to and understand business goals
• Creates and communicates technology strategies which align with client business goals
• Provides quarterly Strategic Business Reviews and helps guide client decisions around IT
• Develops strong business relationships with client C-Suite
• Makes data-driven, high-impact recommendations to client decision-makers
• Creates annual IT budgets and proposals for client alignment, strategy, and initiatives
• Performs client audits and creates summary reports of findings
• Provides recommendations on programs, processes, and resources to improve efficiencies
• Works with other internal teams to create and update technical standards to reduce client risk and reactive support time
• Stays up to date with new products and services which may be of value to clients
• All other duties, as assigned

• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Works well independently as well within a team environment

Experience and Education :

• Approximately 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years focused in IT
• Prior experience working in education / school system / town hall department
• Experience Leveraging Office 365 Microsoft Products
• Bachelor's Degree Required (Business / Communications Preferred)
• Industry Certifications in Related Field
