PACCAR Zero Emissions

Requisition Summary
Lead a global team of project managers in the Zero Emissions Powertrain organization to develop and implement zero emissions powertrain solutions to meet market and regulatory requirements for clean energy propulsion.
The Project Management Office Department Supervisor will oversee a team responsible for the realization of one or more development projects within the constraints of Quality, Timing, Cost and Performance (QTCP).
This PMO Supervisor position will be located at the Paccar North Texas office in Lewisville TX and will report to the Zero Emissions Powertrain Assistant Chief Engineer.
A strong leader with persuasiveness and perseverance with an advanced degree in a technical field. Bringing 7+ years of professional experience within an engineering development organization with at least 3 years in a project management role.
This position is located at PACCAR's North Texas Office in Lewisville.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team of top performing project managers to plan, execute, monitor, and report on the department portfolio of projects
- Ensure that project goals are achieved within given quality, time, resource, and budget constraints.
- Provide coaching, ensure training and project management execution aligned with the Zero Emissions Powertrain product creation process and procedures.
- Coordinate project activities with product portfolio managers, product development managers, other PACCAR divisions, and suppliers.
- Reporting to and coordinating with organization sponsors and stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
- BS Degree in engineering or related technical field is required
- 7+ years of experience in new product development and a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in leading a technical or project management team
- Excellent communication skills, time management and flexibility with assigned tasks.
- Experience and knowledge of PMBok, Automotive SPICE or similar processes (i.e. TRL)
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Willing to travel internationally.
Preferred Qualification
- PMI Certification preferred
- Have knowledge of PACCAR's Product Creation Process
- Knowledge of electrical vehicle systems and technologies
