Vaco is conducting a confidential search for a Benefits Analyst on behalf of a prominent organization. This temporary position is designed to cover a period of 3-4 months and requires expertise in U.S. benefits administration.
No third-party inquiries, no c2c, must be in the Eastern or Central Time Zone of the United States. Position is 100 percent remote but must currently be in the United States.

Job Overview
The Benefits Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the People Team, focusing primarily on U.S. benefits but also engaging in international benefits programs.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in open enrollment and a keen interest in expanding their knowledge to include international benefits.
The role involves close collaboration with carriers and the organization's broker team, as well as direct interaction with employees to address their benefits-related inquiries and onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer U.S. Benefits Programs : Oversee medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other voluntary benefits programs.
- Employee Records Management : Maintain and update employee benefit records in Workday, including managing life events, new hire elections, and annual open enrollment reporting to vendors and payroll.
- Reference Materials : Develop and update U.S. benefits reference materials, such as the Benefits Site, Benefits Guide, and targeted benefit information sessions.
- Employee Interaction : Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries, handling the benefits inbox, and providing high-confidentiality support to resolve issues.
- Annual Benefits Renewal : Assist in the annual U.S. benefits renewal process, working with the Global Benefits Manager and broker to review benchmarks and present recommendations.
- Open Enrollment : Lead the Open Enrollment process in the second year, including drafting communications, responding to inquiries, and coordinating information sessions.
- COBRA Administration : Maintain COBRA systems and processes, including subsidies and the annual enrollment process.
- 401(k) Plan Administration : Support the administration of the U.S. 401(k) plan.
- M&A Transition Coordination : Assist with benefits plan transition activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in U.S. benefits administration and a strong interest in gaining international benefits exposure.
Experience with Workday and managing open enrollment processes is essential. Additional experience with COBRA, 401(k) administration, and project work in international benefits will be advantageous.
