Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Research Grant and Contract guidelines and policies.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and programs including Banner and Banner 9.
- Knowledge of grant and contract accounting and programs including ASSIST, IT Works, and ETSURGe.
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software : Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial information providing results with recommendations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Research Grants and Contracts.
