We are looking for a social friendly person to work with our customers, patients and our staff. The Front Desk position requires multi-tasking and providing ongoing day to day office support which includes answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, check patients in, check insurance eligibility, collect fees from patients and assist with pretesting and medical insurance billing.
Responsibilities include inputting customers information in their files, placing their order, pick up of order, to following up with customers.
Front Desk Responsibilities :
- Greet customers & patients / check-in / check-out patients
- Answer Phones
- Obtaining patient prescriptions from Optometrist
- Perform administrative duties, such as managing prescriptions, customer records, and insurance
- Check in jobs / reconcile lab invoices & statements
- Communicate with patient the status of their orders
- Pretest patients
Front Desk will be trained to support the Optician :
Work with our customers to find the most suitable eyewear for their needs, recommend specific eyewear, take measurements, fit and adjust glasses, and teach customers to properly wear and care for their glasses or contact lenses.
Strong Customer service skills which include interpersonal and communication skills.
This job description is to be a guideline for coordinating daily activities; other duties will be performed as assigned.
