Under direct supervision, assigned daily work. May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.

Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.

Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Under general supervision, applies skills and knowledge to determine degree of conformance of products to KBR or Client specifications.

Performs inspection of various project activities; Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities; Notifies management of significant problems;

Completes documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA.

As a Quality Inspector, you will :

Inspect raw materials, documentation etc. to ensure consistency and integrity.

Perform, analyze, and document quality control tests.

Maintain, test and troubleshoot all QA devices.

Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed.

Maintain Quality Control : Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

Facilitate Team Communication : Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Qualifications :

This position requires a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS / SCI) U.

S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required to start.

5+ years of proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.

Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

Working knowledge of MS Office and database systems.

Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications.

High School Diploma or GED : Required as a basic educational foundation.

Attention to Detail : Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Ability : Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
