What you will get to do : The Instructional Aide participates in all areas of classroom instruction, which includes but is not limited to, direct contact with students, participating in all program activities, including those not directly related to classroom instruction (CPR, First Aid etc.
Preparing materials for instructional activities and following through with goals established by the family, special educator and therapists.
Assist with drop off and pick up times and all aspects of snack time and lunch time. This position allows you the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of the students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and work with a team to provide exceptional services to a student’s educational journey in achieving personal milestones.
Instructional Aide Requirements :
- High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
- At least one year of experience working with children or with the developmental disability population.
