Gpac is partnering with Siouxland area’s leading concrete contractor and is looking for an experienced Safety Director in construction or industrial safety and risk management.

Required Skills :

• At least five (5) years of experience as a safety manager / director / professional, preferably within the construction industry
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude, a strong drive to make it happen , top-notch professionalism, and the desire to be a team player.

Preferred Skills :

• OSHA 500 completed training
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management
• Experience tracking employee training and development.
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)

As the Safety Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the safety functions of the organization, with a primary focus on developing, modeling, and reinforcing a positive safety culture.

We’ll provide an excellent training / mentoring program for the successful candidate. The Safety Director, who shows initiative and is decisive, has a broad opportunity for personal growth and responsibility.

The person successfully performing the Safety Director duties and responsibilities for the company will be one of the most valuable, highly impactful people in the company.

You will work closely with the Operations Leadership Team acting as the heart of the Injury-Free Environment culture. You will also work closely with the HR and Operations teams in helping employees continue to develop their skills and set goals.

The Safety Director’s compensation plan includes base salary, which will be augmented by bonus when company financial and non-financial goals are met.

This Company is 100% employee-owned concrete subcontractor. We started in 2010 and have had year-over-year growth since then.

We perform all facets of concrete construction and don’t shy away from the more technical projects. Our focus is to provide quality work to our customers while keeping everyone safe to go home to their families.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience :

Safety Management : Construction or Industrial Safety - 5 years (Preferred)
