As a Product Designer at Instill, you'll work with the world's foremost experts in neuroscience, organizational psychology, psychometrics, and predictive analytics to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and experiences for our Culture Operating System™.

You'll play a critical role in helping our clients create a digitized system of record for their organizational values, measure their culture and receive real-time action steps and interventions to optimize their team’s performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth user research and testing to derive insights that inform design decisions, ensuring that the user experience is intuitive and efficient.
  • Create visually stunning and high-quality user interfaces and experiences through thoughtful design and prototyping, elevating the overall usability of our product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, development teams, sales, and executive leadership to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience.
  • Guarantee a consistent user experience across various platforms and devices, adhering to design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
  • Stay up-to-date of the latest design trends, technologies, and tools to continuously enhance our product's design capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in design.
  • Facilitate design workshops and presentations to communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
  • Contribute to the design vision and strategy of the company and product, and ensure that design decisions align with the overall goals and objectives.
  • Help grow our first design Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, UX, or a related field with 7+ years of experience.
  • A deep and broad design experience with a portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of human-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience working in a start-up or early-stage environments, with a strong understanding of the unique design challenges and opportunities that come with these fast-paced and constantly evolving environments.
  • Strong skills in storytelling, user research and testing, prototyping, and design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate design decisions and ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms and devices, with a deep understanding of design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries with strong considerations for responsive design and accessibility.
  • Familiarity with the latest design patterns, technologies, and tools, and a passion for human-centered design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, and the ability to think creatively.
  • Curiosity and passion towards designing for the future of work to transform organizational culture.
