We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a hybrid position, with two days on site and three days remote, serving the entire school district.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and providing support to enhance the overall psychological well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluations : Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs.
- ARD Meetings : Collaborate with educational teams in ARD meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Intervention : Provide evidence-based interventions to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Consultation : Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Crisis Intervention : Respond to crises and provide support as needed.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
Qualifications :
- LSSP Certification : Valid License as a Specialist in School Psychology.
- Experience : Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Hybrid Work Skills : Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote work and collaboration.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability : Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Work Schedule :
- Up to 40 hours per week
