Position Summary : Senior Data Analysts at Levelwing help create, maintain, and improve data pipelines, data robustness, and data integrity for both reporting and data science capabilities.

They are experienced with web, marketing, and business analytics data. They excel at creating data workflows and analyzing data from disconnected sources.

Senior Data Analysts help to communicate solution data input needs to clients, are skilled at preprocessing data before data harmonization occurs, communicating Data Science data needs to Data Governance function teammates, and inputting data and model validation.

Senior Data Analysts have strengths in feature generation, exploratory data analysis and transformation. They play a crucial role in closing the data science last mile problem through their strength in defining and communicating the value of complex data science techniques to non-data-experts.

Minimum Skills & Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of analytics experience, preferably within a digital marketing environment.
  • Experience in a senior or lead analyst role is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics tools commonly used in digital marketing, such as : Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and / or marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Python.
  • Experience basic modeling in Python preferred.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and data visualization.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate data processes and modeling processes in a clear manner.
  • Advanced skills in data processing.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial minded.
  • Detail oriented with strong attention to follow-through.
  • Ability to think critically and make recommendations based on data needs.
  • Broad understanding of analytical processes, including but not limited to : data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modeling, and visualization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Providing strategic thought leadership for creation, maintenance, and improvement of full data ecosystem to ensure successful execution of data pipelines and related solutions.
  • Managing user and group access within AWS through IAM user management console.
  • Managing user and group access within Quicksight data, analysis, and dashboards through management interface and maintaining row level security resources / tools.
  • Building and maintaining pre-processing jobs through AWS Glue, Lambda, and scheduled SageMaker processing scripts.
  • Managing creation, maintenance, and management of AWS S3 file and folder structure through the support of strategic data processing decision making.
  • Supporting other Data Governance and Data Science team members in data integrity by supporting validation of data leaving data governance solutions and entering data science solutions.
  • Supporting other Data Science team members through the exploratory data analysis and validation process in transformation stages of data science processes.
  • Supporting, managing, and leading feature engineering from new and existing data within the Data Science pipeline.
  • Supporting model validation through collaboration with Data Scientists and team Directors.
  • Supporting model output interpretation through collaboration with Analysts and Supervisors in the Strategy and Insight function of the Analytics Department.
  • Managing the maintenance, validation, and advancement of analysis and dashboards in AWS Quicksight.
  • Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing analytics and ensuring Levelwing utilizes the latest tools and methodologies to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, and implementing quality assurance measures to maintain high data integrity standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry best practices in data handling, storage, and reporting.
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning within the Analytics team and across the agency.
  • Managing data process documentation with the support of other data governance and data science team members.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
