Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza is opening its doors to our 13th location in Tallahassee on Monday, January 22nd, and we want YOU to be part of the excitement! We will be calling to schedule face to face interviews starting Monday December 18, 2023 - Friday January 12, 2024, or until slots fill up!

Upon joining us on our opening team your journey with us would begin with an Orientation on Monday, January 15th, offering both morning and afternoon options.

Following that, our training sessions will run from January 16th to the 21st, with both AM and PM sessions available. It's important to note that attendance on these days is mandatory;

they're not just days on the calendar they're essential steps in your exciting new adventure with Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Check identification to ensure guests meet the legal drinking age
• Upsell drinks and snacks when appropriate
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Monitor alcohol consumption of guests and intervene as necessary
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• Must be 18 years old at the time of hire and authorized to work in the US

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

This job operates behind the bar and may be working in close proximity to co-workers. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Hazards may include, but are not limited too, cuts, slipping and tripping. With reasonable accommodation, the physical demands include :

• Walk and stand during entire shift.
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
• Remain stationary for long periods of time.
• Frequently wash hands.
• Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Be able to manipulate fingers, hands and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.
