Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-quality proposals for our client, a leader in the building general contractor industry.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the proposal process from start to finish, ensuring all client requirements are met and that proposals align with our strategic goals.

This role requires strong project management skills, creative design capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.

Focus :

• Manage the proposal development process, including RFQ / RFP responses, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, project management, and technical experts, to gather content and ensure alignment with client needs.
• Utilize Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) to create visually appealing and professionally designed proposal documents.
• Maintain and update the CRM database, ensuring all proposal-related information is accurately tracked (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
• Apply layout and graphic design skills to produce visually compelling proposals that adhere to brand guidelines.
• Conduct thorough reviews of proposal documents, ensuring compliance with requirements and consistency in tone and messaging.
• Assist in the development of marketing collateral and presentations as needed, supporting the broader marketing and business development efforts.
• Leverage industry knowledge, particularly in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sectors, to tailor proposals and enhance the likelihood of winning contracts.

Skill Set :

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing and proposal management experience, preferably within the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) with a strong emphasis on design and layout skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for database management (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple proposals simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines.
• Experience with Illustrator is beneficial, along with a keen eye for graphic design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Prior experience managing proposals in the AEC industry a plus.
• Familiarity with proposal compliance standards and best practices in the general contractor industry.
