Job Purpose
To staff a variety of courses each semester in the field of art history. Part Time faculty may instruct one or more introductory or period courses each semester on an as needed basis.
Essential Duties Part-time faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students;
and report grades. Additional Skills Required Evidence of well-rounded (e.g., multiple historical periods) teaching experience in art history Minimum Education Requirements A Master of Arts Degree in Art History is required.
Preferred Education A Ph.D. or ABD in Art History is preferred. Minimum Job Experience Requirements At least two years previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in cases of unanticipated course scheduling needs and changes.
Preferred Qualifications Written and oral competence in the English Language
