Summary of Position :

  • Review, disposition, and assist with rework of PWB defects
  • Processing of PWB and assembly RMA's (Return Material Authorizations) and RVA's (Return Value Adds) for the Nashua business units

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Review and disposition PWB defects in accordance with IPC A 600
  • Maintain technical knowledge of acceptable PWB rework methods. Assist in performing rework on PWB's as needed.
  • Create presentations in PowerPoint on any large scrap or rework events and share with process owners
  • Process RMA's and RVA's through Paradigm floor control system
  • Review customer complaints and verify accuracy of reported failure
  • Inspect RMA's / RVA's prior to processing
  • Coordinate with Process Engineering to define rework routing
  • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
  • Follows established safety procedures.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • Candidate must be able to be flexible and will be required to meet departmental goals and to insure on time delivery is met.
  • Travel may be required for training and customer needs.

Requirements : (Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses)

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related Quality inspection experience.
  • Must be able to use a computer to maintain records, develop reports, and analyze data and document discrepancies as well as using a computer to perform all other related aspects of the position.
  • Certification training in IPC A600 (Printed Wiring Boards) and IPC A610 (Electronic Assemblies) is preferred
