The Talent Program Manager - Finance and Functional Learning is responsible for implementing and coordinating finance and functional learning and development within Ferguson.
This role is critical in developing and implementing learning strategy to support the development of associates across the organization.
This position collaborates with various partners, including Finance and Functional leadership, HR, and learning and development teams, to build and deliver comprehensive learning and development initiatives for Ferguson professionals, across levels.

Location :
This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid out of our corporate offices in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities :
Finance and Functional Learning Strategy Development : Collaborate with team members, finance and functional leaders, and internal authorities to identify learning needs and develop comprehensive training programs that align with strategic objectives.
This includes identifying appropriate content, delivery methods, assessments, and success metrics to ensure that the training programs meet the needs of the finance and functional team.
Content Development and Delivery : Work internally and externally to craft, develop, and deliver learning content across various modalities, ensuring materials are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the finance and functional team's learning objectives.
Finance and functional Program Design : Design and implement comprehensive learning programs that equip associates with finance and functional skills, and techniques.
Leverage blended learning formats including in-person, virtual instructor led, resource materials, and self-paced online courses.
Program Evaluation and Improvement : Leverage a suite of measurements to evaluate and ensure the efficiency of learning strategy and programs, including assessing content quality, delivery, and overall impact on team performance.
Through this analysis you will collaborate with internal and external resource to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancement.
You will also stay updated on industry trends and standard processes in training and development to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of training initiatives.
Program Cohesion : Work cross-functionally to ensure a consistent approach to learning across roles and functional groups.
This includes training initiatives related to onboarding, talent pipeline programs, and other continuing education programs.
Ensure regular updates to content and programs, reflective of new programs and product offerings, are done in a timely manner.
Vendor Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with vendors, serving as the main point of contact for all vendor-related matters.
You will work closely with vendors to ensure that they deliver high-quality content and services as per the agreed-upon timelines and standards.
You will also conduct regular vendor performance reviews, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Adult Education, or related field.
7-10 years experience in functional or learning leadership, national account management, program development, and / or creation and execution of strategic initiatives strongly preferred.
Experience in learning program management, including vendor management, and budget oversight.
Professional certifications in talent development or related field are a plus.
Proven understanding of training content development and delivery methods, including e-learning (learning management systems), Web-based virtual training, and instructor-led training.
Experience in vendor discovery, selection, and contract negotiation.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal partners.
Analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance and training efficiency.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other training development tools.

Pay Range :
$6,000.30 - $9,716.30
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
