JOB DESCRIPTION
One of our top financial clients is looking for a highly motivated individual to be a part of our Brokerage Production Support team.
In this role, you will be responsible for Production Support. In addition to strong technical competency, the position requires the ability to effectively work with a geographically diverse team, build and leverage client and vendor relationships, and provide innovative thought leadership.
The Principal Application Support Engineer will be responsible for Production support of Brokerage applications on the cloud.

This resource must live and work in Pacific Time Zone. Compensation : $55 / hr to $75 / hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of Application or Production Support - In depth support and troubleshooting of java / node.js applications - Extensive experience supporting microservices architecture within AWS environment - Experience supporting brokerage and investment applications - Experience handling on call production support, Change and Incident Management for critical systems
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- application development experience with strong proven understanding of Java / Spring MVC, Node JS, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular - Experience working in a DevOps and CI / CD environment - Brokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plus- Extensive experience with setting up alerting and monitoring in a cloud environment - Extensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting application issues in a cloud EKS infrastructure - Experience supporting applications in Kubernetes - troubleshooting and performance tuning
