ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install and repair equipment, parts, and systems in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Working knowledge of Electrical Codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules / regulations.
- Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance according to continuous improvement processes
- Maintain accurate and complete records, document all work performed appropriately.
- Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate daily repair logs and KPIs.
- Operate grinder, welder and other metalworking tools to fabricate and assemble parts as needed
- Adhere to continuous improvement and root cause analysis practices
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replace defective parts.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)
- Ability to read and understand blue prints, schematics, and work instructions
- Understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate determine root cause and repair.
- Ability to work 2nd shift
- Problem-solving skills, team oriented and detailed oriented
- Minimum two years’ of relevant experience and or / training that includes installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems equipment, HVAC maintenance, or any equivalent skills, and abilities for this position is preferred.
- Ability to pass standardized maintenance aptitude test
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
- Associate’s degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
