Job Title : Quality Assurance Inspector (1st Shift)
Pay Rate : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (D.O.E)
Location : Irvine, Ca
Shift : 5 : 30am 2 : 00pm (½ hour lunch); Mon - Fri
Requirements :
- Must read / write English
- Steel toe or composite toed shoes required
- Ability to read blueprints, use hand gauges, take various measurements, and use hand tools
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform visual inspections for cosmetic defects and to ensure product matches description
- Verify purchased assemblies function as intended
- Conduct mechanical measurements to ensure products meet dimensional requirements
- Confirm all process and material requirements are met and certified by the supplier, including hardness testing
- Document all inspection and test results on paper and in the inspection database
- Communicate with the stockroom regarding acceptable products ready for warehousing
- Maintain Q.C. part files, update drawing revisions and inspection plans
- Prepare inspection plans to ensure product quality meets requirements
- Transact parts and assemblies to appropriate warehouse locations using Avante
- Manage inspection tool recall and calibration system
- Maintain the inspection area and tool cabinets
- Inspect products from stock or WIP to address quality issues in assembly
- Oversee distribution, recall, and calibration of inspection tools and equipment throughout the facility
