Now seeking a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Overlook Park, KS.
Summary :
The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing Printed Circuit Boards foe one of the world leaders in engineering technology for aerospace, defense, and mobility.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develops PCB Mechanical outlines or Electronic Package design concept working with Electrical and other Mechanical Engineers.
- Ensures execution of tasks in accordance with project schedules.
- Works frequently with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
- Creates Mechanical and Circuit Card assembly drawings.
- Operates 2D and 3D CAD equipment to produce drawings in accordance with company drawing standards manual.
- Initiate ECOs to correct and improve the mechanical performance of company products.
Required :
- BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience. Minimum five years of experience as a mechanical designer.
- AutoCAD 2D version 12+
- AutoCAD Inventor 3D version 14+
- Drafting and design knowledge
- Knowledge of drafting standards
- Sheet metal design and processes
- Machine design and processes
Preferred :
- Software Experience with MS Office, MS Project, Excel, I.C.P.R. (Preferred) A.S.A.D. (Preferred)
- Some knowledge of database management tool, Inventor Vault
- Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duration : 6 months+
Pay : $55-$65 / hr.
Location : Overland Park, KS
