Job Description
We are seeking a skilled commercial carpenter to assist the superintendent in our self-perform work on commercial construction job sites.
This role requires travel throughout Iowa and surrounding states. The candidate will drive their own vehicle to the job site either Sunday night or Monday morning, stay in a hotel until Thursday, and then return home that night for a 3-day weekend.
Mileage + Per Diem when traveling. Occasionally, work may extend into Friday morning. Responsibilities vary based on the stage of the project and include :
- Concrete
- Steel and / or Wood Framing
- Hanging doors
- Tile / Flooring
- Trim Carpentry
- Setting kitchen and bathroom hardware (sinks and faucets)
Hard Skills
- Ability to install doors
- Trim work
- Cabinets
- Hardware
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
