Job Description
The ADON will provide clinical / operational leadership for Mental Health Services to include the 105-bed inpatient facility, ED-behavioral health unit, and EmPath units.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to clinical / operational liaison, growth, and strategic planning duties for the CHS Division’s ambulatory mental health areas.
- Clinical / operational duties include developing strategic goals and objectives and operational activities to achieve planned goals;
- leading the development of strategic initiatives for program growth and clinical operations; conducting needs assessment and analysis to determine prioritization and impact of strategic and operational initiatives;
- tracking the progress of strategic plan and process implementation, reporting and providing insight regularly to leadership, developing and present pro-formas and strategic plans to appropriate committee(s) for approval, assessment, and implementation;
- identifying and establishing relationships with facility leaders and key stakeholders in the community; developing and preparing annual budgets and direct internal and external resources to operate within budget;
establishing and co-leading with the ACNO, medical director, system administrative officer, system nurse executive director, and Mental Health Chair to report on KPIs and action plans.
