As a Director of Engineering for Community Infrastructure, this candidate will support the market to develop and manage a team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Technicians.
This candidate will be responsible for leading project pursuits and the marketing of clients, including public and private clients statewide as well as delivering quality projects on budget and on time.
This candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the financial performance of all projects under their direction and the overall performance of their department and team.
Remote and / or Hybrid work location (home or office) is a viable option and the successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on and / or relocation bonus.
Job Duties :
Develop and directly supervise a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians for the implementation of public infrastructure projects and / or private land development projects.
Identify project pursuits, market clients, and manage pursuits including proposal and presentation preparation. Coordinate and develop proposed scope, schedule, and fee for projects pursued and lead the interview team.
Actively win new work from both new and existing clients by building and maintaining customer relationships, monitoring future work opportunities, communicating regularly, and attending client events.
Directly manage projects on time and within the project budget and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
Monitor and manage financial aspects of all projects within the group. Travel is estimated to be approximately 15% to other offices, meet with clients, attend project-specific meetings, and business development.
