Description Wanted : Night Shift Radiology Technician Assistant!! Full Time 40 Hours !!!(variable night shift ,11 : 30pm-8am, M-F with weekend rotation as needed) Here is a great opportunity for a candidate with a passion for radiology and patient care.

This is a role designed to provide assistance to our technologists during procedures in order to expedite the best diagnosis to our patients and deliver quality care.

Qualified candidates will have HS Graduate / EQUIVALENT and some healthcare experience (0 - 6months). Preferred candidates will have previous experience in radiological services, knowledge of human anatomy, and knowledge of department procedures.

Summary

Assist technologists during procedures in order to expedite the best diagnosis to patient and deliver quality care.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, directs patient flow from waiting rooms to exam rooms. Has patient fill out proper forms if applicable.
• Evaluates patient prescriptions to ensure proper exam is performed pertaining to individual ailment.
• Orders and completes all cerner functions.
• Changes patient and prepares patient for procedure.
• Performs exam with technologist and offers assistance to patient, technologist, & radiologist throughout entire procedure.
• Retrieves x-rays, medical records, nuclear medicine reports and develops radiographs as needed.
• Brings films to radiologist to evaluate.
• Cleans exam room following procedures and restocks used materials.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.Education : HS GRAD / EQUIVALENT
