FITNESS DIRECTOR
Coordination
- Oversee the sales of personal training to new and existing members through the leadership of the Assistant Fitness Director.
- Analyze market needs, create and adapt programming to meet the needs and demands of current and prospective members
- Develop and implement programs and special events as they pertain to group and personal training
- Oversee group fitness class scheduling and substitutions, ensuring classes are never cancelled with the help of the Group Exercise Coordinator
- Oversee all aspects of communication of group fitness programs including : maintaining updated schedules and instructor changes
- Work with membership director to funnel leads from new member joins to fitness programs
- Continually audit and evaluate all classes and programs, solicit feedback, review and analyze results.
- Prepare statistical reports pertaining to group fitness and personal training usage
- Be available to assist at the Fitness Desk as needed.
Supervision
- Recruit, supervise, coach, train and evaluate all group fitness instructors, personal trainers, floor staff and other part-time staff as needed
- Promote a professional work environment through character development by modeling JCC standards and values
- Process payroll for 100+ employees
