Assembly Lead - 3rd Shift at Imagine. Shift : Monday - Friday, 10 : 30pm - 7 : 15am.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all General Worker duties and responsibilities.
• Direct employees to finish kitting / assembly while reporting to Supervisor for next assignment; delegate duties to ensure the next kit is ready to run.
• Update SQDIP board and complete basic problem solving.
• Review work instructions for assembly requirements; understand and communicate job ticket information through department software and paperwork.
• Anticipate needed supplies and maintain proper levels; notify supervisor of shortages.
• May collect temporary worker timesheets and conduct initial accuracy reviews.
• Instruct, coach, and support personnel in performing their job duties while running small kits; provide training as needed.
• Assist in duties when supervisor is out; may direct temporary workers in lieu of supervisor.
• Set up production line to start a production cycle and obtain first piece approval for each job / sub job.
• Control and adjust machine settings as necessary.
• Produce required kit / sub kit assemblies by placing product into kits, verifying quality, packaging on moving lines, and protecting product during packaging.
• Monitor lines for optimum running speed and quality.
• Troubleshoot problems during kitting and assembly and report issues.
• Complete Load Tags accurately and prepare product for the next operation.
• Ensure USPS regulations and guidelines are met when processing mail; apply current postage and mailing labels to domestic and foreign mail; complete paperwork to move product efficiently through the mail stream.
• Perform maintenance on department equipment or facilitate preventative maintenance.
• Track job costs / production hours as applicable.
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, safe workplace and reporting potentially unsafe conditions; help the department meet safety requirements.
• Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work timely and accurately.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
