The Inspection and Compliance (I&C) Branch is recruiting to fill one (1) Staff Services Analyst position located in Dinuba, CA.
Under the supervision of the Agriculture Program Supervisor I (APS I), the Staff Services Analyst evaluates, develops, and executes administrative and analytical duties pertaining to food safety audit scheduling and reporting within the Shipping Point Inspection Program.

and to have knowledge of basic computer skills in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, as well as State and Departmental fiscal systems.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Analyze and review food safety audits for compliance with industry set metrics and standards.
- Maintain audit schedule and provide projections of costs and performance for meeting industry defined audit frequency. Track and report progress towards meeting industry defined objective.
- Analyze work schedules to ensure auditor coverage is sufficient to meet the contractual requirements with respective industry groups.
- Develop methods to monitor workload of auditors ensure adequate time to meet inspections needs, report writing requirements, and training hours for each auditor within the program.
Create reports capturing all aspects of the audit process including but not limited to; audit prep, in-person time, in-field time, travel time and report write-up.
- Maintain Branch Internal Quality Management System (BIQMS) documents for Shipping Point Inspection’s food safety activities.
- Responsible for ensuring Dispatch, Purchase, and Training of auditors comply with USDA and BIQMS requirements and are documented on BIQMS forms.
- Prepare analysis of completed food safety audits identifying questions and audit areas that will need further review or changes to improve audit effectiveness.

Working Conditions
The duties of this job are performed indoors most of the time. The employee’s cubical is located in the Dinuba Shipping Point Inspection Office 220 South L Street Suite C, Dinuba CA 93618.
The office is equipped with standard office equipment. Occasional travel to field locations, using public transportation or personal vehicle, may be required.
Upon successful completion of a 12-month probationary period, hybrid or recurring telework may occur as part of the incumbent’s ongoing regular schedule in accordance with CDFA’s Telework Policy.
Special Requirements
