About The Opportunity

We are looking for an analytics data modeler / engineer who will provide analytics teams with clean and transformed data that supports business analytics and dashboard development.

In this role, you will implement and maintain data models and transformations used to generate business-driven metrics illustrated through robust dashboards and visualizations.

Must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams, including executives.

The successful candidate will work and collaborate with business owners across the organization to model and visualize data, based on requirements.

The Data Developer Salesforce will work closely with the Data Insights Team on Data Warehouse and analytics modeling and will report to the Sr.

Director of Business Insights.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models and data processes using Snowflake, DBT, Looker and AWS technologies.
• Apply best practices to SQL, LookML and DBT models.
• Build data expertise and own data quality and performance for allocated areas of ownership.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Design models that are performant and support analysis that leads to business insights.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or Engineering.
• 1-2 years of Salesforce pipeline technology.
• 2-4 years of SQL development experience (Snowflake a plus).
• 1-3 years of ETL / ELT experience (DBT a plus).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with Git.
• 1-2 years of modern BI tools experience (Looker a plus).
• CI / CD processes and applications relating to dbt.
• LookML experience.
• Fivetran and / or Matilion experience.
• Python development experience.
• Javascript development experience.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $72,500 to $83,360 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $95,100 to $109,380 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents.

Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members.
