Save JobJob SavedResponsible for maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventative maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for the facility.

Location : OTAY MESA, 7664 Panasonic Way, San Diego CA 92154Maintenance of machinery and procurement of necessary materials.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control problems and determine method of repair or replacement.

Inspect equipment to determine reasons for malfunction and take corrective action. Replace worn or broken parts. Disassemble, troubleshoot, clean / repair mechanical unit parts.

Work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, schematics and manufacturing specs.Perform functional tests of installed, rebuilt, or repaired machines / equipmentPerform safety inspections related to guarding.

Support environmental and safety compliance per state and federal regulations.Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.

Check pumps, fans, valves and motorsFollows established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.

Performs other duties as necessary.Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Experience : Minimum 3 years related maintenance experience.

Skills : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.Ability to work on a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of the situation or data requires thorough identification of factors and analysis of impactAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to read and understand bar graphs for department metrics.Ability to work and train from verbal and written instructions.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range : $21.64 hourly to $34.65 hourly.The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to the job classification.
