Patriot Ambulance Service serving Haslett, Okemos and Lansing MI, has an opening for 1 full time Wheelchair Transport Specialists working 12 hour shifts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN WHEELCHAIR TRANSPORT SPECIALIST

As a Wheelchair Transport Specialist at Patriot your job will be steady and consistent . You will be providing transportation for non emergency patients to and from treatment or appointments all over the county and sometimes beyond.

Your guests' satisfaction and safety are your biggest priorities. The key to your success is that you are always courteous to your passengers and timely in your arrival and departure.

You approach each run with professionalism and kindness. Usually you are rewarded with appreciation for the exceptional service but occasionally things don't go as planned but you are willing to go above and beyond to make sure each person is satisfied with their transportation.

Physical Requirements :

• Must regularly push and / or move more than 150 pounds

Education and Experience :

• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Michigan Chauffeur's License
• Willing to obtain current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
• Have a clear driving record ( a driving record will be obtained as a condition of employment)
