What's your day like?
As a Special Education Teacher at The Emerge School of Autism, you can expect a fulfilling and dynamic role where you will work closely with students with autism.
Classroom size is no more than 8 students . Only 48 students total for the entire school. Our small and intimate setting is a great introductory start for newly certified teachers.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for implementing individualized education plans, providing instruction and support, and monitoring student progress.
You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including other teachers, therapists, and support staff, to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As a new teacher, you can expect mentorship and guidance from experienced educators to help you succeed in this role. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.

To be successful in the role of Special Education Teacher at The Emerge School of Autism, several key skills and experiences are necessary.
