Description
We are also open to a Senior Model Risk Analyst with 5+ years of experience. Summary : The Model Risk Analyst will support the Model Risk team through a variety of functions related to organizing and maintaining model risk governance documents and framework in addition to completing data requests and issue remediation testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identify and maintain a centralized inventory of all models and User Defined Applications (UDAs) used at FB
- Ensure all model and End User Computing (EUC) metadata and lifecycle is current and complete
- Maintain the model data warehouse and coordinate with vendor provider to ensure system is up to date
- Track model performance KRIs and prepare appropriate dashboard and risk reporting
- Ensure all templates are consistent with model policy and standards
- Utilizing Templates and Workflow Platforms to organize and systematize work
- Understanding of Banking Regulations / Requirements related to Model Risk and Stress Testing
- Developing a response plan and remediating Audit or Assurance function issues

Education and / or Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or degree preferred.
- 1 + year experience in Risk / Finance
- A background in modeling, data governance, compliance, audit, and / or banking a plus
- Experience implementing or managing software or data platform transformation projects, User Acceptance Testing, Test Script or Technical Writing preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to visualize and / or diagram workflows / relational dependencies and business / data requirements
- Superior written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with particular emphasis on being able to articulate complex topics in a manner digestible to a wide audience.
- Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets.
- Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a highly collaborative team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
