Unit secretaries play a vital role in the healthcare industry because they support a wide range of individuals, including patients and other medical professionals.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong customer service skills, effective communication skills and have the ability to multi-task.
The Medical Oncology unit is a state of the art 32 bed facility with acute and intermediate level care provided. The staff have worked to create a work environment which values excellence, team work and peer support.
Schedule : (3) 12 hour shifts, 7p-7 : 30a, Requiressome weekends and holiday requirements
Summary :
The Nursing Unit Secretary role performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education : High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. License / Certifications : Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
3. Experience : One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
