Duration : 6 month contract-to-hire

Schedule : Hybrid (Tues-Thurs in office)
Hourly Pay : $25-40 / hr
Must Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years’ experience working with or in the behavioral / mental health industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with behavioral health measures and quality outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including but not limited to effective group presentations to professional staff and management
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Plusses
- Knowledge of medical billing, claims processing systems, and health care information terminology preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience working with or in the behavioral / mental health industry
Job Description
The Behavioral Health Specialist will lead activities to ensure that the Behavioral Health Providers will have a flawless operational experience while serving our members.
The specialist will identify root causes, will efficiently identify resolutions, and manage communication within the internal teams as well as with the providers.
This individual will support behavioral health leadership in implementing solutions to ensure vendor operations are functioning as expected to avoid interruption in member care due to vendor related functions such as enrollment, eligibility, utilization management, and provider availability.
- Partners with network providers and other internal stakeholders to operationalize new programs and strategies to improve member experience, provider experience, and access to care.
- Contributes to the identification of best practices and integrates into current business processes
- Collaborates with data and actuarial teams to evaluate trends for problem identification and resolution
- Role includes an operational focus requiring project management competencies, data analyses, program goals, success measures, performance specifications, and output requirements to drive program development and execution progress.
