THE OPPORTUNITY :
AS A SENIOR TRAINING ANALYST , you will work with the Associate Academies (customer training facilities) to track the application process and qualification of new Academies, assist them with their training needs, build relationships with their trainers in order to understand their operations, analyze their results and offer plans to increase performance and / or assist their needs.
In addition, you will hold monthly meetings with the Associate Academy Trainers and lead the communication of all matters pertaining to them on a regular basis and as needed.
You will be familiar with a variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures related to VRF and ductless products.
The Senior Training Analyst will rely on experience and judgment to analyze the results of Associate Academies and identify opportunities and trends and apply those to plans to improve and support their operations.
You will conduct Associate Academy Audits / Visits as needed and validate that new academies have met the required standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Track Associate Academy performance regularly through the LMS (Learning Management System) reporting to identify performance, trends, and opportunities
- Work with the Associate Academies to ensure that their results are recorded in the LMS. That will be accomplished either through the Associate Academy using LG’s LMS or submitting the data to be uploaded into LG’s LMS.
This will include helping them with any problems or issues in getting student results completed.
- Identify performance challenges and changes in performance and research the root cause.
- Establish regular communications with the Associate Academies through their trainers, build relationships with those trainers, and understand their market and needs.
- Work with the Sales Teams to develop the training component of the annual Business Plans for the Associate Academies.
- Process applications for new Associate Academies, guide them through the application and construction process, and validate the completion according to the defined requirements.
- Collect, track, and communicate Associate Academy audit results from the teams that conduct audits with the Associate Academies and initiate and track corrective action plans as necessary.
- Visit Associate Academies to validate new construction, conduct audits, and / or review operations and needs as required
- Ensure that the Associate Academies are either using the LMS actively in order to ensure that all completed courses are accounted for and that the students earn the appropriate credit for their achievements or that they are actively reporting results that can be uploaded into the LMS in order to achieve them same.
- Work with other departments to track the results of their programs to ensure that training requirements are met and current and that Associate Academy Trainers are current in their certification requirements.
Develop tracking for this purpose and an outreach process to ensure that those whose certifications are expiring are notified of the expiration of their certification
- Conduct Ad-Hoc analyses as required or directed
- Assist with other analyses as directed
- All other duties as assigned
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED :
High School / GED required with advanced and progressive skills in residential, light commercial and / or heavy commercial air conditioning products.
Including experience of Inverter Driven Compressor / Inverter Systems experience required.
- HVAC sciences plus 5 years of practical field experience in the installation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and written skills, including presentation skills.
- Demonstrated working proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Must also be comfortable and proficient in handling details and documenting business activities.
- VRF experience preferred
