Today, AIDS Outreach Center (AOC) began as a grassroots organization responding to the HIV epidemic. Since that time, AOC has been a leader in North Texas in the fight against HIV.
Annually, 42 staff members provide services and education to over 2,000 people living with HIV and prevention services to over 3,500 people in our community.
Our Mission is to serve people living with or at risk for HIV with dignity and respect.In our community, people living will with HIV receive quality care, and new infections are rare.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Grants Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s federal and state grants are in compliance with OMB 2 CFR Part 200, and related subparts, concerning financial reporting, expenditures and milestone deliverables.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibilities
Conducts analysis of contract reimbursements, increments, replacements, renewals, and grant expenditure trends
Assists with budget preparation and reconciliation of general ledger in accounting systems
Develops systems to track expenses incurred for grant funded projects
Analyzes costs and reviews justification of costs
Prepares budgetary and expenditure reports for grants funded project
Analyzes grant expenditure trends and ensures funds availability and compliance with grant covenants
Reconciles grants expenditure reports to the organization’s financial management system
Develops and maintains escrow accounts and subsidiary ledgers and generates status reports, as necessary
Monitors records and billings and approves invoices for payment
Researches payment inquires and reviews requests for payments and coordinates necessary corrections
Maintains databases and spreadsheets to enable financial analysis, cost projections, payment records, and assistance settlement
Conducts annual grant close-out activity and prepares reports with adherence to grantor requirements
Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Management staff.
Participate in agency meetings, retreats, work sessions and events as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, Experience and Training : Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Accounting, Finance, or in a job related field of study
Must have 3-5 years of work-related experience
Must be knowledgeable of fund accounting in Not-for Profit environment
Special Requirements : Skilled in the use of standard software applications
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public
Must possess knowledge of automated accounting systems, General Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and Governmental Single Audit Standards
