Salary : $24.00 - $26.00 / hour

The part-time Accounting Specialist position at Precision Capital is responsible for the day-to-day accounting-bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, data management, reporting-external and internal, bank reconciliations, general ledger transactions and year end activities.

All accounting and reporting are performed in compliance with standard accounting practices.

Time Commitment : Part-time schedule during business hours. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Reports to : Controller

Back-up person : Controller & Accounting Specialist

Compensation : Non-exempt, part-time hourly wage

Work Location : In-Office

Responsibilities :

Accounts Payable PacWest Funding, NW Property Associates & Steel Lending Group :

• Receive and review payables ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely payments.
• Post entries to QuickBooks
• Generate vendor payments when due
• File paid bills by vendor
• Prepare monthly credit card invoices, track changes and credits; attach receipts for all charges
• Maintain vendor data base and related files

Accounts Receivable PacWest Funding, NW Property Associates & Steel Lending Group

• Receive payments
• Enter payments into QuickBooks
• Prepare daily bank deposits to ensure they are done accurately and timely

Monthly Bank Reports :

• Process monthly bank account reconciliations
• Scan reconciled bank statements to electronic storage

PacWest Funding, NW Property Associates & Steel Lending Group Accounting :

• Backup prepare daily bank files for borrower and investor payments
• Backup process outgoing wire request as needed
• Entry of all transactions to QuickBooks
• Review bank activity daily for returned items

Miscellaneous Administrative / Accounting duties :

• Assist with Year End tax reporting; 1099’s
• Assist in various other office duties (i.e. scan past records, filing, etc.)
• Other Administrative duties

This position may require extended periods of sitting and / or viewing a computer monitor.
