We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Ag / Commercial Lender to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with agricultural and commercial clients by providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in agricultural and commercial lending, a strong understanding of financial products, and a passion for supporting local businesses and farms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Loan Origination : Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, generating leads, and building relationships within the agricultural and commercial sectors.
- Relationship Management : Maintain and grow relationships with current clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying additional lending opportunities.
- Credit Analysis : Analyze clients' financial status, creditworthiness, and business operations to recommend appropriate loan products. Work with credit analyst to prepare loan packages and present them to loan committees for approval.
- Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks associated with lending decisions. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Consultation : Provide guidance to clients on financial products, lending solutions, and strategies for growth.
- Market Expertise : Stay current on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the commercial and agricultural lending sectors.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the credit analysts and loan processing to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Cross-Selling : Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services such as deposits to existing clients.
