Wimmer Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to join our client's privacy and regulatory affairs group. This is 100% remote job opportunity!
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
This team collaborates with external organizations to write international standards and works extensively with external regulations, internal policy, and external standards, primarily focusing on ISO and IEC standards.
They specialize in analyzing the interplay between external regulation, external standards, and internal policy, and are involved in data analysis concerning these areas.
The team is also responsible for structuring documents into databases and requires technical skills in database management, SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
Additionally, they have a global presence with team members based all over the world, emphasizing the need for flexibility in meeting times due to the international nature of their work.
- Contribute to SQL, Power BI and Excel reports and breakdown and structure documents for the team. Maps requirements from one document to another.
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Performs complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains such as AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and cloud.
- Gathers requirements from internal stakeholders and translates those into analysis, reports, and dashboards to help produce data driven contributions for our business.
- Tracks and analyzes policy-, industry-, and regulatory-related issues.
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must Have :
- 2-4 years of experience with domains such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy.
- 2-4 years of standards, regulations, and policy background.
- 2-4 years of database management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required to be eligible for this role.
Nice To Have :
- Background in audit, certification, and conformity assessment.
- Experience performing complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains.
- Experience with international standards such as ISO / IEC 27001, 27701, 9001, 42001, NIST 800-53, etc.
- The ideal candidate has all the required and preferred experiences.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly contract rate range of $36.00 to $41.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
