Cottonwood Title has been around since 2000 and has about 125 employees in eight locations along the Wasatch Front. We are known for our expertise, beautiful offices and closing rooms with original art, and robust customer base.
With us, you will learn or expand upon your title and escrow knowledge.
What You Will Do
Your duties include preparing files for closing by arranging to repay outstanding loans on the property, investigating problems with the property title, building closing disclosures, interacting with customers, and sending / receiving funds to close the transaction.
Licensed escrow assistants can help with closings.
No Day is the Same
Every day in escrow feels different. Some days, you arrange payoffs, while others involve sending wires to several transaction participants or doing any of a thousand other things (don't apply if you want to do the same tasks daily).
All the while, you're working with your team and interacting with customers.
Qualifications / Skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Ability to learn quickly
- Handy with technology, including MS Office and Excel
- Knowledge of residential real estate terminology is helpful
- Escrow experience is a plus
Salary and Benefits
Escrow assistants can earn salaries between $45k (for beginners) and $80k (for more experienced hires) and are also eligible for team production bonuses.
