This role is critical in maintaining the functionality and safety of our heavy equipment fleet by diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

At Muschlitz, we are passionate about building up our region, one project at a time.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Service and repair all types of heavy equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems efficiently.-Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.-Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment issues and repair needs.
- Complete required paperwork for maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.-Travel within a 150-mile radius of our Bath, PA shop for field service as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.The ideal candidate should possess : -Minimum of 2 years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Technical training or trade school certification in heavy equipment repair is highly desirable.-Must own a complete set of tools for heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Possession of a Class B CDL or willingness to obtain one is a plus.-Ability to pass a DOT Physical Examination and maintain a valid medical card.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.-Willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed.-Strong understanding of equipment safety and a high level of safety consciousness.
- Excellent diagnostic skills for complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.-Strong communication skills and ability to understand job assignments and instructions.
