We are offering an exciting opportunity for an AP Specialist in the construction industry. Based in ARVADA, Colorado, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and assisting with the overall operations of our accounting department.
This role involves tasks such as managing inventory levels, reconciling the general ledger, and handling Accounts Payable (AP) related duties.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee inventory levels, including handling purchase orders and tracking them effectively.
- Efficiently enter AP invoices into our accounting system.
- Follow up on vendor invoices after reviewing, printing, and forwarding them.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and questions regarding invoices.
- Exhibit strong communication and customer service skills in all interactions.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.
- Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
