Role Description :

Arcadis is seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join our Resilience Water team in the United States.

Role Accountabilities :

As a Structural Engineer with our Resilience Water team, you will play a crucial role in delivering engineering and consulting services for various projects.

These include treatment plant facility upgrades, infrastructure resilience, waterfront / shoreline stability, stormwater management, and distribution / collection system design.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Researching alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory specifications.
  • Conducting structural engineering investigations.
  • Developing technical calculations, drawings, specifications, requests for proposals, and other contract documents.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions that meet industry codes and standards.
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Traveling, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant structural engineering design experience

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • EIT Certification or PE license

Key Attributes :

  • Strong structural analysis and design skills, including experience with STAAD Pro and other structural software
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / REVIT software
  • Excellent knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC and ACI
