About the Role

Manager in our external financial reporting function which oversees the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensures compliance with GAAP / SEC reporting requirements, prepares accounting policy research and analysis and participates in department special projects.

Responsibilities :

Prepare our Form 10-Q / 10-K for filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). Ensure that the Form 10-Q / 10-K meets GAAP / SEC requirements.

Critical areas of focus include Cash Flow Statement, EPS and Equity Statement.

Prepare our earnings release and complete related analyses in connection with the quarterly analyst conference call.

Analyze current / proposed accounting pronouncements for potential implications on the financial statements and propose best alternatives.

Help implement accounting standards and other such financial reporting requirements to which we may be subject.

Plan, manage and document the annual impairment test in accordance with ASC 350 and ASC 360.

Query, mine, analyze and report on data sets and use data analytics tools to validate and support recorded transactions.

Review customer contracts and other transactions and ensure / document the proper accounting in accordance with ASC 606 or other relevant accounting standards.

Ensure that our financial policies and procedures are current and meet GAAP / SEC requirements and are communicated and made available to all operating departments.

Manage the annual process to complete our financial statements for its charitable foundation and employee benefit plans.

Manage our annual carbon emissions reporting process and related audit.

Provide support and documentation to assist with the audit of our financial statements conducted by external auditors and ensure an efficient process.

Ensure that internal controls over the financial reporting process comply with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, such as acquisitions, dispositions and peer group analysis.

You will report directly to the Director, External Reporting.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting

CPA required

5+ years of public accounting or public / private experience

Ability to understand analyze and summarize complex financial data in a clear concise manner

Ability to determine business impact of accounting guidance and translate it into operational and reporting outcomes

Extensive knowledge of GAAP / SEC rules

Preferred Qualifications :

Workiva and Workday experience

Project management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and / or Google productivity tools

Ability to be flexible, work in a team environment and work under tight time constraints

The annual base pay range for this role is between $115,000.00 and $125,000.00.
