Responsibilities :

Assemblers at Mercedes-Benz Vans work within ateam in an assembly-line environment building state-of-the-art vans for theAmerican automotive market.

• Prepare the assembly
• Check production documents for completeness
• Inspect incoming parts for completeness and quality
• Provide feedback on missing / incomplete documents or parts
• Assemble components and / orassemblies
• According to the appropriate work instructions, mount variousassemblies and components on numerous or different stations within an allottedtimeframe
• Report self-discovered defects / errors
• Ensure the assembly meets high quality standards
• Perform maintenance workaccording to specifications (tool maintenance, housekeeping, Total ProductionMaintenance) within individual workstation and on station tools
• Participate in ContinuousImprovement Process

QualifikationenQualifications :

Educationand Experience

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 1+ years relevant manufacturing experience orLean Manufacturing certificate preferred
• Ability to perform the essential functions of thejob.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basichand / power tool familiarity
• Preferred experience in automotive production
