Are you a tax professional with a passion for providing sophisticated financial planning and advisory services to high net worth, ultra-high net worth, and family office clients?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Tax Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients optimize their financial strategies, serving as a trusted business advisor, and providing expert consulting services that will shape their financial success.
Professionals in our Private Wealth Tax team work together with tax professionals and financial advisors through our affiliation with Aldrich Wealth, with varying disciplines, to serve clients in diverse sectors.
Successful candidates will have a desire to interact and manage client relationships, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a desire for future growth.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your tax expertise, guide clients through complex tax matters, and ultimately contribute to their financial success.
Requirements :
You'll Get a Chance To
- Directly engage with clients on new initiatives, ensuring seamless follow-through by coordinating efforts with both internal teams and clients to implement strategies effectively.
- Analyze client financial data, identifying needs and developing advanced tax strategies that align with client objectives and optimize their financial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating the ability to manage all aspects of the client experience, earning trust and respect while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and attract new clients to the firm.
- Oversee technical tax reviews, handling complex matters and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and standards for high net worth individuals.
- Develop and mentor Senior Associates and Staff, providing targeted training, effective performance feedback, and guidance to support professional development and career growth.
- Manage the financial performance of engagements, including overseeing billing, collections, and project budgets to ensure profitability and minimize risk across all projects.
- Collaborate proactively with Aldrich Wealth relationship managers throughout the year, identifying tax needs and exploring new service opportunities for comprehensive client meetings.
What You Bring to the Team
- 4+ years recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on high net worth individual tax planning, complex preparation, and review
- Ability to supervise others
- Licensed CPA, EA , or JD
- Licensed Certified Financial Planner with estate planning skills a bonus
- Willingness to take "ownership" of the client
- Ability to build and retain client relationships

At Aldrich, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensations decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each candidate.
The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location and other job-related reasons.
Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 - $155,000.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, subject to the rules governing the plan, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals.
