We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Schedulerto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proventrack record in planning developing and implementing schedulestrategies for mega projects with complex multidisciplinary scopes.
This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional analyticalskills and a deep understanding of project management principles toensure project milestones are met efficiently andeffectively.
Principal Accountabilities
Develop maintain and manage detailed project schedules forNuclear Development projects incorporating all project phases frominitiation to completion.
Collaborate withproject managers engineers contractors and other stakeholders togather all necessary data for accurate scheduling.
Identify potential schedule risks proposing mitigationstrategies to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
Utilize scheduling software to create visual aids Ganttcharts and other tools to report progress to senior management andstakeholders.
Lead scheduling strategy meetingsand provide expert advice on schedule optimization adjustments andpotential impacts of changes.
Ensure integrationof schedules across multiple projects and disciplines promoting acohesive approach to project execution.
Conductscenario analysis and planning for best case probable case andworstcase scenarios.
Prepare reports foranalyzing variations and comparing baseline approved schedules toprogress schedules including critical path method resource loadingcost loading manpower submittals projections of impacts andrecovery plans.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree from an accreditedcollege or university.
Minimum of 8 years ofexperience in project scheduling with at least 4years focused on largescale mega projects.
Desired Education and Experience
SRO License orCertification
Individual must have advancedknowledge in work management and outage work processes andprocedures.
Advanced knowledge of the Passportprogram and database including the interface to the Primaverascheduling program.
Advanced knowledge of thePrimavera scheduling program and basic schedulingtechniques.
Primavera 106 Training Certificationor four years of experience using Primavera Schedulingsoftware.
Working knowledge of reportdevelopment software (Crystal Reports) and databaseanalysis.
Working knowledge of the outage riskmanagement and online risk management software (Paragon).
PMP certification.
Working knowledge ofmanagement techniques (e.g. situational leadership performancemanagement time management etc.).
Required abilities and skills
Experience directly related to life cycle construction projects with a strongunderstanding of the engineering procurement and constructionprocesses.
Proficiency in scheduling softwaresuch as Primavera P6 is mandatory.
Strong understanding of project managementprocesses EVM (Earned ValueManagement) and risk management.
Excellentanalytical organizational and communication skills with the abilityto present complex schedules and scenarios clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment andwith personnel at all organizational levels.
Experience in Nuclear industry renewable energy orconstruction is highly desirable.
