TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner in the West Area sitting in Anaheim, CA or Seattle WA.
This role is responsible for supporting the life cycle of the field operating unit’s human capital from candidacy of employment through career development and departure as necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Acts as a direct liaison with field operating unit employees to efficiently and timely respond to internal customer inquiries regarding company policies and practices, benefits and work questions, and training opportunities.
- Conduct workplace investigations for employee and manager complaints.
- Executes on HR transactional tasks such as, offer letters, cost center changes, etc.
- Liaison with HR COE’s to ensure to ensure
- Facilitates performance management process with managers and employees, by answering questions and providing training.
Ensures that management is completing process stages in a timely manner and process in effective and positive for employees.
Contribute to internal projects and workstreams as needed. Identify and recommend methods to resolve problems, update, simplify, enhance, and optimize existing processes, procedures, policies, and technologies.
Supports cross functional continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reviews employment actions and requests termination approval as defined by SOPs.
- Reviews affirmative action data and compiles responses to OFCCP audits.
- Works with Hiring Managers to ensure onboarding activities for new hires are seamless and that follow-up activities are conducted.
- Reviews time and attendance files to ensure approvals are in compliance with company policy and local, state and federal laws.
- Ability to understand the business operations from a tactical perspective.
- Maintains data integrity of HCM system, and updates employment data as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- BA / BS college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Human Resource certification
- 6+ years relevant work experience in human resources with a strong employee relations background.
