Express Employment is currently seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter in the Holland Area. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing wooden and other materials in various construction and remodeling projects to achieve high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Install cabinets, moldings, doors, and windows with precision and care
- Sand and finish surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished look
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on construction projects
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations on job sites
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in finish carpentry
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
