We are a mental health intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment center focused on teenagers. We are seeking for highly motivated registered mental health counselor interns or Licensed clinicians to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview : As a Primary Therapist at AWA, you will play a crucial role in the treatment team, providing individual and group therapy to clients enrolled in our IOP and Day Program Responsibilities : Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload of clients.
Conduct group therapy, biopsychosocial assessments, screenings, and assist in the admissions process. Formulate individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches.
Participate in daily clinical meetings. Document all patient-related care in the patient electronic record in a timely manner.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents. Ensure treatment documentation meets agency and professional standards per DCF and Joint Commission.
Maintain professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality. Qualifications : Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) or Registered Intern in the state of Florida.
2 years of experience working with adolescent individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Experience in group facilitation and working with multidisciplinary team.
Well-versed in a variety of evidence-based modalities (e.g. DBT, CBT, MI). Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with EMRs, LOCUS, ASAM, DCF, and Joint Commission. Level 2 Background Check and Drug Test required. What Makes This Job Amazing : Our program's success is rooted in the voluntary participation of adolescents who are self-motivated and willing to be part of our program.
